1) What is the apartment like?

The studio is tastefully furnished in classic contemporary style. It consists of a large living/sleeping area, kitchenette, balcony and bathroom. The studio is supplied with modern and high quality facilities: adjustable air-conditioning/heating system, cable TV, telephone and internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped - oven and hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, juicer, crockery & cutlery etc.

It has been awarded a four star rating from Best Western Hotels and is currently featured in their summer brochure.

2) Where about is the beach?

There is a small, secluded beach 50m away accessible via a pathway at the foot of the resort.

The main St Vlas beach is a s five minute stroll away.

3) How do I get about?

All areas in St Vlas are easily reached by foot. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the resort to Sunny Beach and Nessebur for a same charge. A timetable for the shuttle bus is available at reception. Alternatively, Sunny Beach and Nessebur can be reached by local bus or taxi. We have a number of preferred taxi drivers. Please contact us or ask at reception for details. Taxi's can be booked for trips further afield or car hire is readily available.There are a number of excursions also available which can be booked when you arrive in St. Vlas - alternatively we can arrange bookings for you before you leave for your holidays.

4) How do I get to Bulgaria?

There are flights from many UK and Irish airports both scheduled and chartered. Average flight time is 3 - 3.5 hours. Please see our flights section for further details carriers.

5) How do I get to/from the airport

We can arrange airport transfers from Bourgas or Varna Airports to take you straight to the resort. Please note transfers are by private hire car/taxi and will go straight to Sun Coast Resort without stopping at any other complexes. Transfer times are just under 30 minutes from Bourgas and just over 60 minutes from Varna.

6) What is Bulgaria like?

Situated in the south eastern Balkan peninsula, Bulgaria has been dealt a generous hand by nature. There is the impressive 230-mile long Black Sea coast with some of the finest blue flag award sandy beaches in Europe. Average summer temperatures on the Black Sea coast are 27°C and there are more than 300 hours of sunshine in high season. Away from the sunny beaches you'll find the magnificent mountain ranges and an amazing cultural heritage to explore.


So, whether you plan to let your hair down and be entertained in a modern seaside resort, relax and soak up the sun on a secluded beach where time stands still, awaken your senses amongst breathtaking mountain slopes and lush green hills or take a journey of discovery through a land of tradition and great contrasts, Bulgaria has it all.

7) What is St Vlas like

We have personally been holidaying in St Vlas since 2003 and absolutely love it.

The village square provides you with the opportunity to experience local Bulgarian hospitality and the livelier resort of Sunny Beach is easily accessible by shuttle bus, local bus or taxi.

A new addition to St. Vlas is the beautiful Marina, which is only a five minute stroll away from the Sun Coast Resort.

8) What else is close by?

The large nearby resort of Sunny Beach is a fantastic place for entertainment both day and night. And the old town of Nessebur, a World Heritage site, will definitely conquer you with its antique beauty. With its fine beaches and attractions, Nessebar, Suny Beach, St. Vlas are known as the "Bulgarian Riviera". For more information please refer to our Area Info section
