St Vlas is a beautiful resort that combines the Balkan mountains with great beaches. With a history dating back some 2,500 years down the centuries, Nessebur has been linked with many ancient civilisations. It is located on a small peninsula in the Black Sea. The old town is a under a preservation order as a living museum town, housing the remains of some 40 churches from different periods of history. The old town is made up of narrow cobblestone lanes populated by gift shops, taverns and romantic restaurants in which you can sample the delights of Bulgarian cuisine whilst enjoying panoramic views of Sunny Beach and St. Vlas.

Nessebur is 5km from the Sun Coast Resort and can be reached by shuttle bus, public bus or taxi. There is also a sea taxi Sunny Beach (Victoria Palace Hotel) - Nessebur and hopefully for 2007 from the St Vlas marina!
